What School Readiness Funding covers
School Readiness Funding is the Victorian Government's needs-based funding for early childhood services, spent through a menu of evidence-informed programs and supports. Its three priority areas are communication (language development), access and inclusion, and wellbeing (social and emotional).
Building the capacity of educators and families is a stated objective of the program, and allied health participation is a core part of the menu. Communication and inclusion are the exact territory a speech pathology led partnership works in.
